Overview
The vision of Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone (TASEZ) is to be a catalytic SEZ, empowering the evolution of the automotive sector.
The SEZ is established in line with the SEZ Act 16 of 2014. The mandate of TASEZ is to promote national economic growth and export by using support measures to attacked targeted foreign and domestic investment and technology, including facilitation of the creation of industrial complexes, tradable services including promotion of skills, and technology transfer within the automotive sector.
In achieving its vision, TASEZ mission is to attract investment, promote innovation, and facilitate socio-economic development in the automotive and allied sectors through: encouraging both foreign and local investment, delivering high-tech industrial infrastructure, and achieving excellence in zone operations. Moreover, TASEZ aims to develop relevant and modern technical capabilities and skills, established through leadership, competitive SEZs, and cultivating collaborative partnership and fostering community participation.
