Overview
The Free State Department of Public Works and Infrastructure's mandate involves the construction and maintenance of buildings, managing the leasing-in of properties and managing the leasing out of government properties including the provision of office accommodation, payment of municipal services as well as coordination, monitoring and implementation of the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).
The Department’s vision is a centre of innovate asset management, quality infrastructure development and investment for growth and job creation. Its mission is, in partnership with its stakeholders, to drive economic growth and job creation; coordinate infrastructure development, investment and construction; and promote sustainable community development
